Javier G. Mosteiro is an architect and professor at the School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (2007); he has also been deputy director of the Doctorate, Postgraduate and Research program thereof. He is currently director of the Master’s Degree in Conservation and Restoration of the Architectural Heritage organized by this School. WEB
EYCH2018 Project 1:
Within the subject “History and theory of restoration (II)” of the Master’s Degree in Conservation and Restoration of Architectural Heritage, the professor will seek to transmit the knowledge and critical discussion of recent practices of conservation / intervention in architectural heritage, the assessment of its heritage value and the analysis of proposals for its intervention.
In this way, the students will be asked to work on approaching a building / heritage complex that has undergone transformations, extensions or interventions.

Final Master’s Project on the monumental set of the Cartuja del Paular.
